- French ( or “Garden”) style patio door systems provide you with the same insulating qualities and security of a steel or fiberglass entry door system, along with the elegance and practicality of the many possible designs of glass available.
- Sizes are available for direct replacement of sliding doors, or for most new construction designs. See our sizing chart below for details.
- Doors are hinged at the outer ends with a central “astragal” (sealing member) which, attached to one of the hinged doors, will swing in with the door. This allows a fully unobstructed double size entry, if needed, for moving large items into or out of the house.
- Most commonly, the doors are “in-swinging”. Optionally, we can build these to swing outwards if your needs require this function.
- Our door frames are always maintenance-free solid vinyl, or vinyl wrapped.
- Factory spray painting services are available for a fine coloured finish.
- French patio doors are available in steel or highly durable fiberglass.
- A huge selection of glass types and designs are available to fit these doors, allowing customization to your decor.
